Man wanted in Florida homicide case believed to be in Troy | Crime
Larry Joe Futrill, a 67 year old Lake Wales resident, has an active arrest warrant for 3 counts of sexual battery on a juvenile victim. Detective Mary Jerome obtained the arrest warrant Wednesday from the State Attorney’s Office after presenting evidence and testimony regarding an ongoing investigation.
Futrill is also a person of interest and wanted for questioning in the December 19, 2012 homicide of William Macauley. Futrill is described as a white male, 5’10”, thin build, light complexion, and has white hair. It was reported Futrill recently cut his hair shorter so he may have a different appearance than the photos. Futrill’s mode of transportation is unknown. Police believe he could be in Elba, AL or Troy, AL.
Police consider Futrill to be armed and dangerous! Anyone who sees Futrill or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call law enforcement immediately.
