Career fair set for October 4th at Troy University | Events
Troy University's Office of Career Services will hold a career fair on Oct. 4 in the Trojan Center ballrooms on the Troy Campus.
This event, which will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, is free and open to all students, alumni and employers. More than 30 companies will be present.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss positions within a variety of fields, including business, information systems, computer science, accounting, finance, management, insurance, customer service, biology and liberal arts. All participating students and alumni are encouraged to bring their resumes.
“This is a great opportunity for Troy University students, both past and present, to meet a variety of businesses from across the state and beyond," said Lauren Cole, coordinator of career services. “All students should attend whether they are freshmen, who are just starting to explore career options and need to begin making relationships with future employers, or seniors whose goal it is to attain a job by graduation. Students from every major will find opportunities to discuss with employers their resumes and whether they are a good fit for that industry or business.”
Space is still available to employers interested in participating. Companies interested in registering should visit the Career Services page of the TROY website (www.troy.edu), click on the link for “Trojan Recruiting Live” and follow the on-screen instructions. Upon registering, employers will receive further information regarding the facility, parking and campus.
Arrangements for employers interested in conducting campus interviews with students and alumni before or after the fair can be made through the career services office at 334-670-3217
